The service

Last updated 4 November 2026. Lexlate translates the words inside a product image and draws them back into the same place. Reading, erasing, translating, and typesetting are automatic. The result is a draft. Check it before you publish.

Using this website means you agree to these terms.

Accounts

Registration needs a real email address and a password of at least 8 characters. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Email the address below if someone else is using it.

Acceptable use

Upload only images you have the right to use. Do not upload illegal content, and do not use a translation to mislead a buyer about a product.

Do not probe, scrape, or overload the site. We will stop an account that does.

Your images

You, or the existing rights holder, keep the rights in the images you upload and in the translated file. You give us a limited permission to process those files to produce that translation and redraw, and, when you save or download while signed in, to keep the finished image on your account for up to 30 days so you can download it again. A preview is not kept. Deleting the account deletes these images. We do not claim your images.

Free previews and subscriptions

Without a subscription you can make 3 watermarked previews a day.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Waffo is the merchant of record. Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay stay on Waffo’s checkout page. This site does not store the card number. A subscription renews each month until you cancel it with Waffo. Visitors from mainland China and Hong Kong pay once, including with WeChat Pay, and use the allowance for 30 days. That payment does not renew.

After a cancellation or refund, the paid allowance on this site stops. Whether a charge is refunded follows Waffo’s checkout terms. Images included in a billing month do not roll over.

Translation quality

Check brand names, numbers, sizes, prices, and claims before you publish a listing. We do not promise that a translation is accurate, or that the font matches a custom logo.

Interruptions

If reading, translation, erasure, or hosting fails, the site may be unavailable for a time. We do not promise uninterrupted access.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss from using or being unable to use the service, including a listing you publish without checking it.

Changes

We post a new version on this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.
